Testimonials

Comments for our colletions.

I think they have been collecting crystals for ages. Really an amazing display of crystal items! Some of the rare items are not listed in the shop for sale though, surely they are the owners’ treasure pieces to keep.

One of the owners is in textile business, I think that why you see collections of fabrics for soft furnishings: cushions, curtains, blinds, chair covers, beds, tables, lampshades, and more.

Happy to see a great variety of cufflinks, sturling silver, gold gilted, shells, jade, rarewood, and more. I even got a tie-pin for my party use! Certainly a great joy just to browse through these hard-to-find items which you don’t in our physical stores nowadays.

Frequently Asked Questions

Some questions our customers asked.

About Our Store

Our store owners are approaching the stage of retirement, they are still working in different jobs. It’s not practical for them to run a physical shop at the moment.

Yes, they are the same store. We the ‘.co.nz’ store was initially set up for customers in New Zealand. Since we have a plan to set up a physical showroom in Australia at some stage, we decided to merge the ‘co.nz’ store into ‘online’ store. At present we you visit www.theVintageStore.co.nz sotre, you will be redirected to the ‘online’ store.

Crystals, cufflinks, vintage planters, fine china make in England, silverware, jewelleries, and books.

Not at the moment.

That could be our plan in the future. But not at the moment. Our first step for charity work is to setup a category of “CHARITY” under the shop which allow a certain percentage of the sale proceeds to go for charity purpose. Then we will talk to an organization (e.g. Hospice?) to arrange the details. We will keep you informed in due course.

Theoratically, it is possible. But for now, the answer is no.

Further Questions

We have our 100% money back guarantee policy in place subject some conditions are met:

(1) Refund request has to lodged before we delivered the goods, or has sent the item/s by post;

(2) Since you are buying vintage items, and in most cases, they are all one-off (only one item in the listing) item, which generally have some inperfections (some color fading, minor hairlines, or chips).

Our advice is to look at the photos and read the descriptions carefully. Do make a comment if you need further info.

Since we don’t allow up at the moment, we will arrange delivery for some big and chunky items, but ONLY IN THE AUCKLAND REGION. Please arrange with us the Comment Section.

Yes, absolutely! One of our owners has been in import and export business for over 30 years! But this needs to be discussed and arranged case by case. Please contact us through contact page.

We are exploring the feasibility of providing such a service at the moment. One way to handle this is through our ‘Digital Catal0gue’ download where interested customers can download your catalue for $1 (a fee we charge for such a set up, like a ‘gold coin’ you paid as entrance fee to a ‘Antique Road Show”).

You need to draft up a Catalugue detailing the following:

  1. Time: time duration of your garage sale, e.g Saturday 8:00-12:00am 12/12/2021;
  2. Venue: the address where the garage sale is hold;
  3. Content & Phones: describe the items what you will be selling, and attach some photos;
  4. Contact Phone: Lease your contact phone number there so people could contact you;

You can do this through our google form (the form will allow content and photo upload).
